JTeach Academy is proud to offer students the choice of 3 different courses this Summer.
ENG3U – Grade 11 University Level English (Prerequisite: ENG2D – Grade 10 Academic Level English)
ENG4U – Grade 12 University Level English (Prerequisite: NBE3U – Grade 11 University Level Indigenous Studies or ENG3U – Grade 11 University Level English)
JTeach Academy courses are offered free of charge with a minimum donation of $349 to Jewish Learning Fund. A full charitable donation receipt will be provided. Click the link at the top of the page to make a donation.
JTeach Academy Summer School courses are offered in our Guided Self-Directed Learning format. Students complete a total of 110 hrs per course. Courses may be completed in as few as 4 weeks or as long as 8 weeks. The official end date for all courses is Sunday, August 25, 2024 at 11:59pm. There are several mandatory online sessions during the course. Instructors will schedule these sessions by agreement with the students. Students have access to their course teacher via email and can arrange online meetings as needed.
JTeach Academy recommends that students dedicate 6 hours per day over 5 days per week to their course.
In order to remain in good standing throughout the course, students must demonstrate the following:
- Log in to the online platform for the requisite 25 hours per unit. There are 4 units plus the Independent Study Project.
- Complete all activities, including any assignments, associated with each of the units before proceeding to the next unit.
Students who do not log in for the required number of hours or who fail to submit any of the required assessments may be removed from the course.
Due to the short timespan of the course, students who do not remain in good standing risk removal from the course. If students are removed from the course due to attendance, failure to submit assignments on time and/or plagiarism issues, refunds will not be issued.
